Urban Soldiers meet Gun Bunnies

The date was 7th October 2011, time was 19h45, Gun-Bunnies were on time and the Urban Soldiers were 20 minutes late, as usual. Eventually, after arrival of Urban Soldiers it took them another 30 minutes just to think of starting to prep gear, you know, talking and beer always takes priority :)

At approximately 20h50 we were finally ready to break up in to teams, we had 6 veteran players 3 bunnies, 3 u-soldiers, and 8 regular players.

First Game : Elimination

First game was elimination, this is a game where the best strategy is simply to "shoot them before they shoot you", or any other team member you don’t like. The bunnies lost the first round due to one of the opposing members decided to do DEAD MAN WALKING maneuver, which I must say out smarted all of us!

Second Game : Elimination

Second game of elimination, the bunnies managed to take it back with only 1 loss on their side and a complete wipe out of opposing force.

BIG Game

The third and fourth games were played as a BIG Game where both, Village and Rec-ball fields are joined and played. Big Game is the attack and defend scenario and consists of 2 games in total. Bunnies defended first and Soldiers could not get into village, they almost did, but were stopped. The second big game was a rotation where bunnies were attacking and soldiers defending, ok… I must admit it took some time for bunnies to make a plan on how to enter and from where but it worked, our primary objective was to take control of “building 1” which we manages to do within the first 10 minutes of the game.

After controlling building 1, the bunnies split into 2 teams and surrounded the soldiers by boxing them in and successfully taking the game

Cage Fight!

The last couple of games the guys decided to do was “THE CAGE” where there are no rules (exept keep your mask on at all times), if you get shot keep playing until you run out of ammo. 3 minute game with no more than 200 paintballs each. Let's just say it was interesting watching these guys shoot it out.

Gun Bunnies and Urban Soldiers are two Rec/Milsim - paintball teams from Paphos, they include veteran and amateur paintball players of different nationalities and age.
