Paintball is fully legal sport in Cyprus
Although such was not always the case. In fact paintball has been in Cyprus since the late 90s, but only in 2002 it became a fully legal sport! Soon after it became legal, several paintball fields opened up, DNA Paintball being the first one, making it the oldest running paintball field in cyprus.
Nowdays, paintballing in the Republic of Cyprus is fully legal and pretty much all aspects of it are controlled by the police, i.e. all paintball markers must be registered and licensed at the "local" police station by the owner of the marker (Yes yes it is very inconvenient but alas, such is the law and yes this applies to the paintball field owners, sadly!). In order to obtain the licence for a paintball field, the field must fullfill certain standards that apply mainly to safety issues, this too is enforced and inspected by your local police.
The process of buying your own paintball marker is just as complicated, the buyer must have completed military service, have a clean police record and be over the age of 18 years old in order obtain the license for a paintball marker. Minimum age for paintball in Cyprus is 14 yrs old with parents consent. From 16 and up. no parental consent is required. It is required that all players must wear protective mask as well and neck and chest protection. Paintball markers are not allowed to exceed 290 fps velocity and a maximum of 12bps firing rate.
Paintball is relatively safe sport. Statistically it's safer than golf!
Safety is of primary importance at DNA Paintball. We demand that goggles be worn at all times while you are inside the playing are ( fields). Our fields also require that barrel plugs (plastic inserts that prevent projectiles from leaving your gun's barrel) be used while players are out of the playing fields (players with their own paintball markers). Ignoring safety issues is a good way to get yourself ejected from a field very fast.
DNA Paintball is proud to offer over 4000 square meters of playable area including 4 fields and various scenarious to every group. In case you have your own ideas about game types and objectives talk to the DNA staff before starting the game.
Dna Paintball has a total of 4 fields where you can play Paintball or Lasertag.
We offer two different packages for paintball players 20€ and 35€. Smaller package is excellent choice for any new player as it gives you enough paintballs to play few games and see how you like it. Additional paintballs can be purchased for both packages for 9€ / 100 paintballs so even if you run out you can always get more!

Economy Paintball Package: €20 / person, including rental gear. A discounted entrance fee for 11 Euros (normally 15 Euros) and 9 Euros per 100 paintballs. So 20 Euros get you the entrance fee plus 100 paintballs, and any additional paintballs are charged 9 Euros per 100.
Deluxe Paintball Package: €35 / person, including rental gear. The Entrance fee is free, and we offer 400 paintballs for the price of 35 Euros. The paintballs come in a very easy to use belt that holds four pots of 100, which you can wear during gameplay, and reload on demand. Although very rare, if needed, additional paintballs are charged 9 Euros per 100.
Standard Package - €20 / person: The Entrance fee is free and we offer 1 hour of game time for 20 Euros. This excludes briefing time, collecting equipment and breaks between each scenario. Additional 30 minutes of game time at 5 Euros.
Silver package - €25 / person: Lasertag silver package includes 1 full hour of playtime and food (a choice of hamburger / hotdog / nuggets + chips and a soft drink).
Gold package - €30 / person: Lasertag Gold package includes 1 full hour of playtime, food (a choice of hamburger / hotdog / nuggets + chips and a soft drink) and a DNA T-shirt for every person.
