DNA PAINTBALL LTD was established in 2004 and it is the biggest and longest running Paintball Park in Cyprus. We are currently operating three theme fields, the Speed-Ball, the Rec-Ball and the U-Ball. Each field has a unique identity and it offers different types of entertainment. The speed ball is made for the adrenaline junkie that enjoys a video game like rash, where fitness, accuracy and training count.

The Rec-Ball (Recreational Paintball) field is quite big (4500 square meters) and appeals to groups that are looking for a fun time, without much of a workout. This field is available for nine different action packed enjoyable scenarios. Finally the U-Ball (Urban Paintball) offers the ultimate strategic game where age, sex and physical status do not matter. The four houses with a total of 18 furnished rooms, the two sniper towers and the 42 meter underground maze guarantee an exciting experience.

Facilities

DNA Paintball Ltd has adequate facilities to entertain approximately 80 people simultaneously. We incorporate a 200 square meter cafeteria with a viewing deck and all the necessary facilities that players and guest might require. The cafeteria serves a wide variety of soft drinks and cold refreshments as well as coffee and tea in the winter. We also have the right facilities for BBQ’s and all sorts of parties or organised events.

Free Services

For groups of 14 or more people we provide the following free services:

Free photos of your group that will be uploaded on our website along with a funny storyboard of the event. People can download them and print them of the website.
For Birthday parties, Hen and Stag parties, corporate events and large groups in general we offer special free services.

Pricing

Protective Gear

Our entrance fee includes a full protective gear package that includes coveralls (summer and winter versions available), armoured gloves, protective vests, head snoots and of course the protective paintball goggles. We also provide different colour armbands that help distinguish between teams. So basically all you need to bring is you own shoes. Some people prefer to some dressed with their own clothes, which is fine by us. Our protective gear is washed on high temperature washing machines and dried in dryers to sterilise them. You do not need to worry about paint going on your own shoes and clothes as we use only professional grade biodegradable thermal paintballs.

Fields and scenarios

REC-BALL SCENARIOS:

Our rec-field is our introduction to paintball field. Its perfect for new players as well as veterans , its wide and has a lot of open area to run and hide, it is also the best field to get yourself  familierised with the game itself.

We have many different scenarios(games)

a)      Elimination

Straight forward game 2 teams plays agaist each other first team to have all its members out loses…

Time limit is at marshall’s discresion

Capture the flag(most well known of all scenarios in paintball)

Center flag in field, objective is to capture the flag and place the flag at yur opponents starting point(base) up to 4 teams can play this scenario at once..

Hide and seek

1 team will be give 30sec to run and hide in the field, the opposing team wil have to find them in the designated time given by marshall

Death match

This scenario is not for is not for the faint hearted…

1 for all all players against each other, eliminate all players and the last man standing wins

U-BALL( Urban ball field)

Looking for something  different? This is the place to be., u-ball is our Close Quarter Battle field, and packed with passages, tunnels and rooms especially ation (lots and lots of action)

What is paintball?

Paintball is a sport in which a bunch of adults (loosely defined) go out into the playing field and relive their childhood by playing capture the flag or various other games. It has become recognised as one of the world's most exciting outdoor team sports, only that in this game each player has a gun that fires gelatine capsules filled with water-soluble marking dye. If you're shot and marked, you're out of the game and have to wait until the next one starts.

Scenarios include: elimination, capture the flag, attack and defend, 30 seconds and various other games.

Paintball is played in over 40 countries by millions of men and women of all ages and lifestyles. Whether homemakers or high-school and college students, professionals or retirees, all paintball players share in common a love for adventure and a strong competitive spirit.

What's it like?

Paintball is a combination of the childhood games "Hide & Seek" and "Cowboys & Indians" on a more challenging and sophisticated level. Although there are many different game formats, typically a group of players will divide into two teams to play. The number of players on each team can vary from one, two, five, seven or ten.

Depending on the game, your mission ("should you choose to accept it John") is to go out and capture the other team's flag while protecting your own. While you are trying to capture a flag, you must also eliminate opposing players.
Games run 15 minutes, depending on the scenario.

Between games, players take a break to check their equipment, get more paintballs and have a snack or a soda while they share stories about the thrills of victory and the funny agonies of defeat. Win or lose, everyone has a good time and there's usually another game waiting for you.

Is it safe?

Paintball is a relatively safe sport. Statistically it's safer than golf!

Safety is of primary importance at our fields. We demand that goggles be worn at all times on the fields. Our fields also require that barrel plugs (plastic inserts that prevent projectiles from leaving your gun's barrel) be used while players are out of the playing fields. Ignoring safety issues is a good way to get yourself ejected from a field.

Further, due to our motto "safety first", we offer you full protective gear covering you from head to toe, including snoods, gloves, coveralls, neck protectors, chest protectors (for ladies and children) and, of course, the all important mask. All you need to bring with you are comfortable playing shoes.

Doesn't it hurt when you get shot?

The paint pellets break open upon impact and generally cause very little pain. What pain is experienced is more of a stinging sensation from the pellet's impact through protective clothing. Of course, the closer you are to the muzzle of the gun, the higher the velocity of the pellet when it hits you. Thus, more pain may be experienced when shot at close range rather than farther away.

In general, one can count on coming off the field with a few welts from paintball impacts but your most annoying injuries are those of insults from fellow players or opponents.

Do I have to be on a team?

You don't have to have an organised team in order to play. You can simply get together with friends and family and release your frustrations on the field, commonly known as the DNA Paintball stress management method.

How can I play?

What do I need to bring?

In addition to an adventurous spirit, bring comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty and comfortable shoes.

How can I play safe?

1. Do not shoot animals or wildlife (humans are acceptable targets, at least on the field).
    

2. Do not fire your paint gun anywhere except on the field during the game or in the designated chronograph area/shooting range.
    

3. Inspect the lens of your goggles for cracks or signs of weakness.
    

4. Make sure your mask is well seated and will not come off during the game.
    

5. Make sure the velocity of your paint gun is below 300 feet per second.
    

6. Always assume the gun is loaded, even if you know otherwise.
    

7. Unload the gun when not in use.
    

8. Upon receiving or retrieving a gun check if it's loaded.
    

9. Anytime you are carrying a paint gun in a 'safe zone' such as the parking lot or staging area where people are not wearing goggles, you MUST have a barrel plug in the barrel.
    

10. Know the rules of the game and abide by them.
     

11. Never remove facemasks or goggles while on the field.
     

12. Do not play when very tired or hungry. Bring food or money to buy food from field.  
     

13. NEVER look down at the barrel. Not even with protection. If barrel needs checking remove from the gun and check. If the barrel cannot be removed, disconnect all CO2/CA equipment, test fire the gun downrange until no more gas is left in the gun, clear the breech or ball loading area, and then, carefully and while wearing goggles, glance down the barrel.
     

14. Notify the field owner or manager of any medical conditions, allergies etc.

Can I get the paint out of my clothes?

Paint is water-soluble and should wash out as normal.
